My name is Julia, I am the artist behind all the goods here.  I’m a stay at home mama to 3 beautiful kids, Kaleb, Ezra and Althea. I’m married to the most amazing hard working man.,Peter. We all live and work in Southern Ontario.

 I have been sewing clothes for the past 14 years, and dyeing for the past 10. I am completely self taught and have come along way from the first thing I ever made! (which was an electric blue fun fur apron top!) Sewing is my passion. I love taking a piece of fabric and turning it into something beautiful.  I work mainly with hemp(no more fun fur for me!) and other eco friendly fabrics. All of the hemp I use I hand dye myself in small batches.

Alot of love and energy to in every piece I make.  All seams are serged, straight stitched and top stitched where needed.  Fabrics are all pre washed and dried to reduce shrinkage of the finished product. 

Great care goes into making sure the clothing I make will last many many moons!

About my dyeing~

I started my dyeing journey roughly 10 years ago. It was me, a bucket of burnt orange dye and a bag full of white bed sheets and pillow covers!  My hands were orange for days..(now I use gloves!)

Then I became a mom and for some reason my son had the largest collection of white clothing that quickly became stained! One afternoon I began tie dying them all…I never looked back. There is something so special and fun about tie dying no matter how much I do it.

I use a commercial quality MX fiber-reactive dye for all of my dyeing.
